DATE & TIME: Friday, November 15, 2024; 5:30 to 9:00 PM (Round 1 by 5:40 PM, subsequent rounds ASAP. End time by 9:00 PM).
LOCATION: Hockaday Museum of Art, 302 2nd Ave E, Kalispell, MT 59901· ·(Downstairs Classroom)
TIME CONTROL: G/25, d5 (Dual USCF Rated – Regular & Quick)
EVENT FORMAT: 3 rounds. Quads or Swiss TBD
We will use a family pairing exclusion, subject to a minimum number of players, if players do not want to play others in their own family.
ELIGIBILITY: A current USCF membership is required to register for this tournament (go to https://new.uschess.org/join-us-chess to join or renew).
This tournament is open to all players, including Unrated.
Players must bring their own clocks. Tournament boards will be provided.
BYES: Must be requested at check-in. Zero-point byes only.
ENTRY FEE: No entry fee – $5 donation is recommended
PRIZES: 1st Place – $20; 2nd Place – $10; 3rd Place – $5
